He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Karis and Cecelia Karis (Brueggeman); his sister Beverly; and his brother-in-law Dave Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Anna of Cashton, WI, Kim of Cashton, WI and Kevin Karis of Cashton, WI; and his sister Eileen Peterson of La Crosse, WI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cashton - Torkelson Funeral Home (720 Wisconsin St, Cashton, WI 54619). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (1223 Front St, Cashton, WI 54619).
