He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludger Pieper and Anna Pieper (Brueggeman); his siblings, Dorothy Pieper and Paul Pieper; and his brother-in-law John Roth.
He is survived by: his wife Ardella; his children, Mike (Pam), Jeff, Carol Von Ruden (Todd "Elmer"), Steve (Heather), Jim (Staci), Scott and Kevin (Mindy); his grandchildren, Travis, Jenna Von Ruden, Morgan, Aiden, Addison Pieper, Hailey Johnson and Maddie Schendel; his sisters, Alfrieda Roth and Carolyn Hager (Conrad); and his sister-in-law Caroline Pieper. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Don's family has asked that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Church Handicap Fund or to Cashton Fire and Rescue First Responders in his name.
