She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hemmersbach and Gertrude Hemmersbach (Haas); her husband Norman; her siblings, Evelyn Bulman (John), Lorraine Schroeder (Clarence), LaVern (Cecilia), Arnold, Charles "Chuck" and Eugene Hemmersbach; and her sister-in-law Rita Hemmersbach.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Brueggen of Cashton, Barbara Von Ruden (Gary) of Ontario, Clayton Brueggen (Sandy) of Sparta, Janet Gillitzer of Westby and Lois Clements (Denny) of Bangor; her grandchildren, Amy Becker (Jeremiah) and Jeremy Hanson (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Isaac, Deven, Haley and Gavin; her grandchild Whitney Fagan; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Aliza, Delilah, Sadie and Josie; her granddaughter Sarah Miles (Conner); her great grandchild Millie; her grandchild Erin Kabat (Dan); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Alexa, Jesse Caulum (Amanda) and Hannah Peterson; her siblings, Mary Ann Brueggen (Willard), Ken Hemmersbach and Roger Hemmersbach (Marian); her sisters-in-law, DelMarie Hemmersbach, Bonnie Hemmersbach and Rosemary Hemmersbach; her uncle LaMont Haas; and also, Arlo and Orvin. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
