He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ruden and Adeline Von Ruden (Chapiewsky); his brother Carlton Von Ruden (Dorothy); his brother-in-law Paul Schmitz; and his godson Mark Schmitz.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Seitz; his children, Sue Flock (Phil), Kevin "Red" Von Ruden (Shellie) and Lori Von Ruden; his sister Marllyn Schmitz; and his grandchildren, Brett Von Ruden (Hayley Bemis), Laylin, Beau, Kayla Von Ruden, Derek Von Ruden (Whitney), Noah Flock, Dominic Flock (Brittany Hanson), Braelyn and Sadie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (319 W Main St, Sparta, WI 54656). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery (319 W Main St, Sparta, WI 54656).
