It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Christensen of Casco, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nelson and Florence Nelson (Hartman); her husband Bruce Christensen; and her brothers, Ernest Lee Nelson (Cheryl), Ronald Nelson (Kathy) and Lonnie Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Crockett (Liz), Kimberly Crockett, Melissa Wautlet (Matthew), Chad Christensen (Ashley) and Harley Christensen (Kayla); her grandchildren, Jasmine, Haley, Blake Crockett, Kayne Burger, Keadin Olson, Skye Egeland, Dylan VanDenEng, Dayton VanDenEng, Scarlett Franda-Christensen, Jaxson Christensen, Chilese Dixon, Dollion Dixon, Iseult Christensen and Shelby Christensen; and her siblings, Franklin Nelson, Kathleen Nelson, Pamela Clifford (Rick), Susan Slobojan (Michael) and Lisa Wilson (Chris). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 p. m. Tuesday, January 12, followed by the Funeral Service at 6 p. m. With concerns for the coronavirus, all in attendance are required to wear masks properly, completely covering the nose and mouth.
