It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sonnenburg of Cascade, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sonnenburg and Elizabeth Sonnenburg (Gavigan); and his wife Mary Ann Kozlowski. He is survived by: his children, Robert Sonnenburg Jr. (Cynthia) of Mauston, Delores Hill (Joe Mayer) of Cascade, Daniel Sonnenburg (Karla) of West Allis, Gerald Sonnenburg (Laura) of Cascade and James Sonnenburg of Sheboygan; his grandchildren, Sharon Stein (Joseph) of Milwaukee, Jason Sonnenburg of Mauston, Christopher Hill (Rachel) of Plymouth, Devan Hill of Plymouth, Ashley Bonnier (Ryan) of DeWitt, MI, Matthew Sonnenburg (Nate Tratnik) of Lake Geneva, Joshua Sonnenburg (April) of Sheboygan and Amanda Sonnenburg; his great grandchildren, Josh, Jerad, Jayden, Justin, Elizabeth, Oliver, Eli, Grant, Bryce, Ella, Araya, Kara, Luka and Millie; his sister JoAnn Hafemann of Saukville; his sisters-in-law, Jane Johnson of Superior, Stella Hanson of Superior and Frannie Stannard (Dave) of Superior; his grandson Nickolas Hill; his brothers, Al Sonnenburg (Carol) and Gene Sonnenburg (Hilda); and his siblings-in-law, Aggie Sieva (Joe) and Harvey Hafemann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Robert's name.
