He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Simonsen and Mary Simonsen; and his brother-in-law Nathan Haessly. He is survived by: his wife Ann Wehausen; his sons, Eric Simonsen (Toni) of Masa, AZ and Tom Simonsen (Kim) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Dustin Simonsen (Tonya) of Neenah, Jordan Simonsen of Sheboygan, Aryanna Ebert (Jonathan) of Shawano and Zack Simonsen of Green Bay; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Aiyanah; his siblings, Robert Correll, Lisa DeByle (Tom) and Karen Simonsen Haessly of Grafton; and his brother-in-law Karl Wehausen of Mequon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (509 Milwaukee Ave, Cascade, WI 53011). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in David's name.
