She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Etter and Alice Etter (Goepfert). She is survived by: her husband Norman J. Marty; her children, Monica "Nickie" Marty of Cascade, Michael Marty (Janine) of Baraboo, Patricia Voigt (James) of Greenbush and Matthew Marty (Zina) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Tyler Voigt (Tiffany) of Raleigh, NC, Jacob Voigt (Anna) of Waldo, Samantha Yoder (Cody) of Bristol, IN, Emily Marty of Plymouth, Zachary Marty of Beloit, Kari Capelle (Tony) of Cascade, Lance Corporal Adam Spradau (Savannah), Jessica Midgley of Mishawaka, IN and Lauren Midgley of Baraboo; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Maribelle; her sister Frances Schultz (Terry) of Oneida; and her siblings-in-law, David Marty (Alice) of Mobile, AL, Jerry Wittenwyler of Beloit, Marvin Marty and Joyce Wittenwyler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Barbara's name.
