He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Marchant and Rose Marchant (Alice); his son Billy; his grandsons, Jonathan Ferber, Jeremiah and Jacob Hanson; and his brothers-in-law, Glen Kippenhan and Allen Ebert.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Kippenhan; his daughters, Carole Marchant Ferber (Walter), Sharon Entringer, Nancy Dreher (David), Jeanne Marchant (Dale Reigle), Susan Dreher (Rick) and Judith Marchant; his grandchildren, Jason (Betty), Ben (Suzy), Melissa (Rob), Lindsy (Dave), Shane, Joshua, Alison (Eric), Lisa (Kyle), Amanda (Derek) and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Eric (Cilla), Nick (Brandy), Jared (Augusta), Hannah, Dakota, Braden, Brock, Avery, William, Henry and Adelyn; his great great grandchild Ophelia; his siblings, Joe Marchant (Pat) and Lola Ebert; and his sister-in-law Barbara Kippenhan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
