He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Slater and Mary Slater; and his siblings-in-law, Elinor, W. H. Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Karen Johnson (Krueger).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Johnson; his children, Carey Slater (Karyn) and Kasey Woxland (Dustin); his grandchildren, Alexandria Eldredge (Jordan), Sinjin Slater, Kennedy Slater, Saleena Woxland, Addison Woxland and Lydia Woxland; his nephew Joel Johnson (Brenda); his niece Jodi Guenther (Jeff); and his pet Gunner.
