He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Flitter and Irma Flitter (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Lee; his sons, Mark (Jodi) and Tom (Jill); his grandchildren, Hope, Serena and Zachary; his brother Darwin; and his niece Deb Leonard. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
