Donald J. Fechter Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Fechter Sr. (Campbellsport, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sr. Fechter and Martha Fechter (Kultgen); his parents-in-law, Arthur Buechler and Virigina Buechler (Anzia); his siblings, Rita Fechter, Clement Fechter and John Fechter Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Judy Schoenfeldt and Dick Schoenfeldt; his nephew John Fechter Jr.; and his niece Carol Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Buechler; his children, Donald Jr. Fechter (Deb), Tim Fechter (Tracie), Nancy Schlosser (Mark), Steve Fechter (Tina), Sallyanne Spaeth (Matt) and Todd Fechter (Tori); his grandchildren, Amanda Karnitz (Brad), Katelyn Ludwig (Chris), Baylee Nitafan (Johnny), Sam Schlosser, Brett Fechter, Jacob Schlosser, Brandon Fechter, Molly Spaeth, Morgan Krause, Megan Spaeth, Zach Fechter, Grace Fechter, Maci Spaeth and Sophia Fechter; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Karnitz, Marley Ludwig, Scarlett Ludwig, Chloe Ludwig, Leila Karnitz, Mason Karnitz and Emma Ludwig; his brother Paul Fechter (Eva); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Fechter, Bev Beyer (Dick), Ronald Buechler (Pat) and Bonnie Gierach (Wayne). He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Calendar St. Kilian Catholic Church. A Mass was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Calendar St. Kilian Catholic Church (189 County Rd W, Campbellsport, WI 53010).
