He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jones and Mary Jones (Stanton); his wife Joy Frei; his sons, Jeffrey and Daniel; and his siblings, Charles Hamby, Sam Jones, Hazel Visage, Gertrude Withrow, Rita Thompson, Jimmy Jones and Harvey Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Jones (Kristine) of Camp Douglas, Timothy Jones (Bobbi) of Warrens, Roger Jones (Sara) of Tomah, Mark Jones (Lynnette) of Norfolk, VA, Brian Jones of Camp Douglas, Lynnetta Jones of Camp Douglas, Rebecca Godfrey of Tomah, Gwen Goessl (Don) of Loyal, WI and Roberta Duan (Ramil) of New Lisbon; his foster children, Connie, T. J. and April; his sister Ernestine Ballard; and his brother-in-law James Frei (Jane) of Tomah. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
