He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murphy and Mildred Murphy (Grimshaw); his wife Leilani Bobak; his son Phillip A. Murphy; his brother Tom Murphy; and his nephew Charles Swanson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Berestoff (Mark) of Kenai, AK. and Sharmaine Peterson (Jeff) of Camp Douglas; his stepson Robert Bobak of Monroe, WI.; his sister-in-law Kelly Swanson of Camp Douglas; his sister Mabel Morrow of Mauston, WI.; and his brother-in-law Donald Swanson of Camp Douglas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
