He was predeceased by: his father Quist; his wife Joyce E. Ziegler; and his siblings, Evelyn, Eleanor, Dorothy, Alvin, Geneva, Harold and Melvin.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Hanson (Teresa) of Clifton, Jeanette Schroeder (Randy) of Fort Atkinson, Gene Hanson of Clifton, Peggy Lindley (Vern) of Clifton and Karen McDonald (John) of Clifton; his grandchildren, Kristy Knight (Nathan), Angie Brohmer (Paul) of Tomah, Glen Michael Hanson (Mark Kuchler) of Santa Cruz, CA, Quinton Hanson of Clifton, Derek Schroeder (Julia Wilkes) of Deer Field, Sarah Keeney (Michael) of Hobart, Alek Schroeder (Krystal) of Lake Mills, Zachory Lindley (Whitney Brodhagen) of Clifton, Kent Lindley (Sara) of Clifton and James Hanson; his great grandchildren, Joel Hanson (Loida) of Tomah, Tiffany Ekern (Joel) of Ettrick, Gunner Knight (Lexie), Tyler Peterson of Tomah, Brielle Brohmer of Tomah, Bryce Brohmer of Tomah, Clara Lindley of Clifton, Lacey Lindley of Clifton and Emmett Hanson of Clifton; and his great great grandchildren, Paityn, Kaisyn, Maisyn LeRoy Ekern, Jordy Knight, Kayden and Braelynn Peterson of Tomah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
