She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Knickelbein and Elsie Knickelbein (Czerwinski); her husband Elmer Grimshaw; her siblings, Robert, Kenny, Eddie Knickelbein and Debby Hatfield; and her son-in-law John Birkeness.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Micks (Robert), Karen Birkeness (late John), Jerry Grimshaw (Sherry) and Laurie Braman (John); her grandchildren, Christi Kraft (Mike), Katrisha Wendzel (Kevin), Rebekkah Gage, Aaron Birkeness (Christina), Jeremiah Grimshaw, Rachel Grimshaw, Josh Braman (Karen) and Jennifer Bauer (Jeffrey); her great grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Josiah Wendzel, Landon, Gavin Gage, Mavis, Cecilie Birkeness, Norah Hardy, Anthony and Ayris Braman; and her siblings, Harry Knickelbein (Rita), Sandy Johnson (Hank), Larry Knickelbein (Nancy), Gary Knickelbein (Lynn) and Pam Cordts (Wayne). She is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
