He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Thompson and Florence Thompson (Erickson); his daughter Shari Scribner; his great grandchild Reid Fischer; and his sister Judy Witkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Holmstrom; his children, Sheila Hunt (Craig) and Daniel Thompson (Jane); his grandchildren, Renee Kunkel (Jake), Joel Hunt (Lauren), Roanna Olson (Joshua) and Joshua Fischer (Laura); and his siblings, Larry (Lois), Tom Thompson (Terri) and Peggy Paulus (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home-Cameron (400 N 1st St, Cameron, WI 54822). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
