She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gjermo and Margarette Gjermo (Gunderson). She is survived by: her friend Christine Albert; her husband Ted Kumbier; her daughter Amy Wallace (Lance Millard); and her foster sisters, Nancy Nettum and Irene.
She was also a member of the Cambridge Historic School Foundation, the Cambridge Foundation, the First Unitarian Society, Grace Lutheran Church, and was the Chairperson of the Cambridge Veteran's Memorial Committee.
