He is survived by: his wife Duann Doolittle Werner; his children, Debbie Maric (Zoran), Lisa Farrell, Sandra Riege (Dan) and Gary Petersen (Debbie); his grandchildren, Meagan (David), Milica Nair (Rueben), Monica Cucunato (James), Travis Dodge (Stacey), Jenny van Doorn (Rich), Jessica Bulman (Luke), Michael Riege, Allison Fry (Kevin), Josh Petersen, Janessa Rego (Tanner), Jake Petersen and Jada Petersen; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Evelyn; and his grandchildren, Leela Nair, RJ, Greyson, Jocelyn van Doorn, Tucker, Anna Bulman, Kalli, Abbi, Kenzi Fry, Brayden Petersen, Jayla and Kaylee Rego.
