He was predeceased by: his son Wyatt; his grandparents, Ted, Joan Kok, John RJ and Sadie Alsum; his uncle Arden Kok; and his aunt Phyllis Kuik.

He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Kok and Joyce Kok (Alsum); his wife Tanya Kok; his sons, Jakob and Haiden Kok; his stepson Trenton Miller; his siblings, Rhonda Mulder (Wayne), Steve Kok (Linda), Rochelle Kartechner (Craig) and Stuart Kok; his parents-in-law, Richard and Crystal Walker; and his brothers-in-law, Shane Walker (Tina) and Wade Walker (Melissa). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; further survived by many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be designated for Jakob and Haiden's future education.
