He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Froehlich and Bertha Froehlich (Kowald); his sister Audrey Rupnow (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Froehlich, Jenny VanderGalien, Tina Zuehls, Cora Wiersma, Jake Jacobson, Herman and Carl Jansma.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Froehlich of Cambria; his children, Linda Smedema (John) of Beaver Dam, Gary Froehlich (Loretta) of Cambria and Terry Froehlich (Linda) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Erik Smedema, Miranda Crawford (Joel), Danielle Whyte (Casey), Melinda Froehlich, Makayla Resop (Brad), Dawn Froehlich, Rachel Froehlich, Jared Froehlich, Joel Froehlich and Jonathan Froehlich; his great grandchildren, Emily, Addison, Aveah and Henry; and his siblings, Donald Froehlich and Marion Jacobson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be established in Norman's name to Loaves and Fishes, N7602 Edgewater Drive, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
