She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Priem and Ruth Priem (Peterson); her aunt Phyllis Priem; her grandparents, Herman, Elsie Priem (Paskey), Perry and Bertha Peterson (Gabbei); her brother-in-law Stuart VanderGalien; and her pet Hank.

She is survived by: her husband Charlie Schwoch; her sister Mary Hanko (Charlie Fagan); her sister-in-law Charlene VanderGalien; and her nephews, Chuck, Stuart (Lisa Jurgerson) and Gary VarderGalien (Kris Polster). She is also survived by many cousins, friends, and neighbors.
