He is survived by: his daughter Frances Brende (Jandl); his mother Frances Brende; his children, Samantha, Heather and Alexander Brende; his siblings, Janel Williams and Phillip Brende; his close friend Victoria Rude; and his nephews, Brett, Brian, Randy and Kiel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or a charity of choice in memory of Bernard J. Brende.
