He was predeceased by: his parents, George Zamzow and Lois Zamzow (Perman); and his wife Rita Rietmann. He is survived by: his children, James Zamzow (Debbie), Peter Zamzow, Penny Whyte (John), Jeanne Zamzow (Alexis) and Joel Zamzow (Grace Real); his grandchildren, Ben Whyte, Joshua Zamzow, Derrick Zamzow, Becca Whyte, Jason Zamzow, Kendra Whyte, Ellie Hanlon and Maddie Zamzow; and his great grandchildren, Reagan Zamzow and Ada Zamzow. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shanks Cemetery.
