He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Pieper (Michelsen) and Telmer Pieper of Caledonia; his former wife Betty Kasten; and his daughter Jamie. He is survived by: his wife Robin Holtz; his pet Max; and his brothers, Gerald Pieper (Mary) of Caledonia and Lyle Pieper (Paula) of LeCenter, Minnesota. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
