It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Donald Rud Jr. of Caledonia, Wisconsin, born in Jefferson, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer, Sr. Rud and Elsie Rud; his granddaughter Erin Rud; his siblings, Earl (Violet), Willie, Eddie, Lavern (Rosemary), Orvie, Rosie (Earling), Dorothy (Gene), Shirley and Bernice (Jake Diersen); and his parents-in-law, Ruby (Elmer), Ardell (Lorretta) and Leroy.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Meiners; his children, Jeffrey Lee (Kris) of Decorah, Iowa and Joni Twite (James) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Emily Stone (Dillion) of Waukon, Eric "Bubba" Rud of New Albin, Joshua Twite (Kiah Halvorson) of Harmony, Minn, Jadi Twite of Caledonia and Jenna Twite of Onalaska, Wis.; his great grandchildren, Jace Baird, Olivia, Kasen Stone and Ariey Twite; his brother Leroy "Snookie" Rud (Margie) of Caledonia; and his siblings-in-law, Nicky Rud, Kathy Rud, Bernice Meiners, Deke Hagan and Robert Meiners (Marlene).
