He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony and Violet. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smilko; his children, Desiree Stopczynski (Joe), Kristopher Smilko (Becky), Ryan Smilko (Katy) and Alec Smilko (Torri); his stepchildren, Kathy Schoen (Don), Stephanie Sanders (Al) and Dale Babock; his nephew Ross Smilko; and his siblings-in-law, David Lemanczyk (Ingrid) and Lucy Dominguez (Gustavo). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
