He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kosakoski and Elaine Kosakoski (Eslinger); his brothers, Jim Kosakoski and John Kosakoski; his sister-in-law Juanita Kosakoski; his nephew Kevin Kosakoski; his sister Diane Kosakoski; and his father-in-law Bill.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Ryba; his children, Andrew Kosakoski (Veronica) and Alyssa Zell (Matt); his stepdaughter Jessica Ryba; his nephews, Michael Kosakoski (Jolene) and Adam Kosakoski (Crystal); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, Landon, Oliver, Genevieve, Jayden, Crandyn, Nora, Asher, Jonathan and Cedar.
