With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis A. Filas (Cadott, Wisconsin), born in Medford, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Filas and Michalina Filas; and his siblings, Bernice, Ruth, Ann, Mary, Ted, Estelle, Leo, Bruno, Albert, Walter II, Loretta and Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Danielson (Phil), Debbie Benish (Gary), Barb Freagon (Tom), John Filas (Melissa) and Julia Eisenmann (John); his wife Kathleen; his grandchildren, Payton Freagon, Danielle, Lukas Benish, Mike Danielson, Ashley Kren and Elise Foley; and his great grandchildren, Jasmine Kren, Zion Taylor and Landon Benish. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
