He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Sonnentag and Lorraine Sonnentag (Martinson); his wife Carol Jean Etten; his children, Barbara Twitchell of Maple Grove, MN., Nancy Friederich of Bloomer, WI, Dean Sonnentag (Karen) of Cadott, WI, Jim Sonnentag (Debbie) of Bentonville, AR., Lori Tietz (Keith) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Peggy Schuebel (Brent) of Boyd, WI, Tina Ferguson (Jimmy) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Erin Hanratty (Jay Mulloy) of Cudahy, WI.; his close friend Judy Gindt of Boyd, WI.; his great grandchildren, Aaralyn Sonnentag, Emilu Keyeski, Emery Reeves, Savannah Sonnentag, Morgan, Olivia, Aiden, Liam and Lillian Schroeder; his son Bobby; his brothers, Ray and Bill Sonnentag; his son-in-law Dennis Friederich; his great grandchild Greggory Reeves; and his grandchildren, Don, Donnie and Hunt.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be directed to a charity of the families' choice.
