He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Herbst and Harold Herbst Sr.; and his stepbrother Michael Herbst. He is survived by: his wife Rose Storm of Butternut; his children, Harold Herbst III (Barb) of Butternut, Heidi Lyon (Stacey) of Tennessee, Jake Herbst (Melissa) of Hudson and Becky Wegner (Josh) of Park Falls; his stepmother Lois Herbst; his siblings, Ed Herbst (Deb) and Kathy Sitte (Steve); and his half-brother Ron Herbst (Michele). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
