He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman A. Wartgow and Elsie Wartgow (Linsmeyer); his wife Marilyn; his brother Lynn Wartgow; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Christian, Gilbert Walker, John Morgan, Florine Wartgow and Barbara Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Chappell (Rick) of Lake Mills, Judy Feit (Mike) of Butternut and Pat Wartgow (Denise) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Stacey, Derek (Pam), Dustin, Jason (Marisa), Joshua (Ashley), Kayla (Adam), Josh (Emily) and Tony (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Sona, Alexandria, Hudson, Harper, Lexi, Brewer and Madison; his brother Herman Wartgow (Gladys) of Butternut; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Morgan (Peggy) of Butternut, Thomas Morgan of Park Falls, Shirley Christian of Butternut, Carol Walker of Butternut and Sandra Morgan of Park Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Butternut American Legion Post would be greatly appreciated.
