It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Jean Peterson of Butternut, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hirtreiter and Ruth Hirtreiter (Miller); her husband Edward H. Peterson; and her siblings, Kathryn Metz and Fred Hirtreiter.

She is survived by: her brother Frank Hirtreiter (Bette) of Butternut. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
