MarySal Pohl Obituary
MarySal Pohl passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the age of 76. She is survived by her partner-in-life Robert Machac, her brothers Chuck (Judy) Gatling, Craig (Karen) Gatling, her children Tracy (Art) Pohl, Dawn (Jason) Steffek, Keith (Tina) Pohl, David (Olesya) Machac, Deanna (Mike) Taylor, her grandchildren Samantha (Malcolm), Brady, Nick, Brandon, Bennett, Kaiya, Tori, Adia, Landon, Lincoln, Jameson and her great grandchildren Lillian, Addelyn, and Savanah.
She was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Messmer High School. She worked at St. Agnes for 9 years as a Librarian before transitioning to Aurora Falls Medical Group where she worked as a receptionist. During that time, she raised her kids, devoting any extra time she had to their extracurriculars, including sports and girls scouts. She retired from Aurora on February 4, 2020, and remained an active member of St. Agnes. MarySal was known for her love of wine, flowers and books, as well as "her Packers" and her Santa collection that stayed up year-round. In her free time you could find her (with her snack bag) on the sideline cheering at many grandkids' sporting events, enjoying her favorite wineries in Door County with Barb, or relaxing on the deck with Bob.
When thinking about this incomparable little lady, here are some of the things that come to mind from family, loved ones, and friends: Generous. Passionate. Tough. Beautiful Soul. Infectious Laugh. Selfless. Stubborn. Relentless Positivity. Giving. Cheerleader. Hugs. The uncanny ability to walk into a room and make everyone a little bit happier just by being present. MarySal always had a lot of love in a little package... and a glass of wine in her hand.
A visitation will be held on March 18th, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Parish (12801 W. Fairmount Ave. Butler, WI 53007) from 2-4:30 p.m. A full Catholic Mass will follow, starting at 4:30 p.m.
