Mary E. Kusch Obituary
(nee Brill) Born to Eternal Life on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Larry for 48 years. Loving mom of Carrie (Ross Jr.) Winklbauer and Kelly. Cherished grandma of Alyssa, Brady, Connor and Grayson. Dear sister of Steve (Pat) Brill, Ann (Jim) Walters and Chuck (BJ) Brill. Sister-in-law of Nancy (Ernie) Akers, Karen (Chip) Wentz, Mary (Stuart) Vogel, Sue Harris and Brian Vogel. Devoted friend of Nancy Meiller, Debbie Kloss and the late Shirley Wendt. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her brothers Billy and Raymie, sister-in-law Kathey Vogel and brothers-in-law Gary and Jimmy Kusch.
Mary was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to walk, and made it part of her daily routine. Whether along the white sand beaches or through the desert on vacation, or around the neighborhood at home, Mary was always up for a good walk.
Mary loved to travel. From fall color rides on the back of Larry's motorcycle and casino trips with friends, to family vacations up north, she made the most of every moment. Mary was especially grateful for the memories she made traveling with the love of her life, Larry, to beautiful Hawaii and Mexico.
Mary was a dedicated stay-at-home mom when her girls were young. She volunteered regularly at their school as a resource and computer lab aide. As the girls grew older, Mary cherished time with her daughters at their annual Christmas ornament exchange dinners or just meeting for a walk, a glass of wine, and conversation.
Mary adored her grandkids. She spent summer days doting on them and making memories to last a lifetime. She was their biggest fan at sporting events, recitals, and band concerts. Mary beamed with pride just at the mention of their names.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 14 from 10AM until time of Memorial Mass at 12PM at St. Agnes Catholic Church; 12801 Fairmount Ave., Butler, WI. Mary will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Menomonee Falls, overlooking her childhood family farm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's name to the Alzheimer's Association is greatly appreciated.
