He is survived by: his spouse Martha; his children, Gisela Raether, Barbara Dassow (Jon), Caroline Butler (Tim), Maria, Celeste, Danny and Jonny; his siblings, Erwin (Elisabeth), Stefan (Gerti), Josef (Hilde) and Karl (Bonnie); and his sibling-in-law Carl Lotz (Rosemary). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
