He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cheney and Loretta Cheney (Wagner); his brother Dayton Cheney; and his siblings-in-law, Nolan Wallenfang, Harold Thurber, Barb Cheney and Gail Cheney.
He is survived by: his sibling Gerrie; his former wife Elaine (Reams); his children, Pamela Scott (Steven) of Dillsburg, PA and Thomas Cheney (Heidi) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandchildren, Emma Cheney, Ryan Cheney, Brianna Gamero-Cheney, Noelle Hunt and Pearce Hunt; his siblings, Carlette Wallenfang, Bernard Cheney (Betty) and Geraldine Thurber; and his friends, Willard, Jerry and Groover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
