He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gagnon and Aili Gagnon; his wife Kathleen Schumacher; his daughter Kim Schroeder; and his siblings, Leni Cable, Ronald Gagnon and Angus Gagnon.
He is survived by: his son Mike Schroeder (Julie); his grandchildren, Melissa White (Zach), Jake Jensen, Rebecca Kennelly (Kade), Joe Schroeder and Rachel Freund (Kyle); his niece Janet Lambert; and his nephew Duane Gagnon. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
