With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L Peterson (Burlington, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Peterson and Ruth Peterson (Zimmermann); and his brother-in-law Dennis "Tony" Price. He is survived by: his children, Dick and Betty; his wife Betty; his children, Shane Peterson of Boswell, OK, Stacie Coleman (Tom) of Burlington, WI, Neal Peterson of Biloxi, MS and Sarah Peterson (Glen Pawelski) of Madison, WI.; his grandsons, Jack and Bo Coleman; his brother James "Jim" Peterson (Laurie) of Burlington, WI.; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Price of Williams Bay, WI and Jerry Smith (Sharon) of Shingle Springs, CA; and his caregivers, Heidi of Aurora, Chad and Desteney of Touching Hearts. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dick's honor can be made to the Burlington High School Scholarship Fund, Plymouth Congregational UCC, or Love, Inc.
Services for Dick will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 7pm at Plymouth Congregational UCC, with Rev. Johnston officiating.
