He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ehlen and Mary Ehlen; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Bernice Vogt; and his siblings, Paul Ehlen Jr. and Jean Marcinkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ehlen; his daughters, Denise Ehlen and Tammy Beardsley (Scott); his grandchildren, McKinley Herda, Leah Beardsley, Kaitlyn Beardsley and Aiden Beardsley; and his siblings, Jim Ehlen (Karen), Judy Ebert (Craig), Pauline Hoffmann (Gregg), Pat Ehlen, Peggy Hrncirik (Dennis), Chris Ehlen (Gena), Kenneth Ehlen (Carol), Donald Ehlen and Jackie Heinz (David).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aurora at Home Hospice, to The ASPCA or to the American Cancer Society.
