He was predeceased by: his father LaVern Erickson; and his brother Luke Bathke. He is survived by: his mother Vonnie Erickson (Polanski); his wife Dana Olson; his brother Len; his children, Mark (Mykel Erickson), Abigail Erickson and Brittan Crumbliss; his stepfather Charles Bathke; his siblings, Lennie Erickson (Christine), Tess Miller (Jeff) and Mike Erickson (Chantelle); and his grandson Grayson Crumbliss. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
