She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul and Emma of Harne; her husband John Slater; her son Russ Slater; her son-in-law Greg Aschenbrenner; her sisters, Thelma Donahue (Bill), Ruth Stadler, Dorothy Rodarmel (Ray) and Hazel LeFleur; and her brothers-in-law, Iggy Hippa and Thomas Varano.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Peschl (Mike), Jennifer Aschenbrenner, Sherry Gale (Bill) and Cindy LeGant (Eric); her grandchildren, Alex, Monica, Wendy, Trisha, Elizabeth, Derrick, Daniel, Nicholas and Caleb; and her sisters, Jackie Hippa and Frannie Varano. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
