It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Scherer of Burlington, Wisconsin, born in Stockland, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scherer and Maude Scherer; his son Mark Scherer; and his siblings, Arnold Scherer, Marsha Laffoon (Don) and Marna Cooley (Terry).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sever; his children, Johanna Kretschmer (Ken) and Jeffrey Scherer (Julie); his grandchildren, Kristin Stroening (Daniel), Brian Kretschmer, Dalton Scherer and Carly Ruzzicone (Tony); his children, Madison Stroening, Cameron Stroening, Mayah Ruzzicone and Skylar Ruzzicone; and his brother David Scherer of Charlestown, Indiana..
