We bid farewell to James R. Braden of Burlington, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 69. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Braden and Lorraine Braden; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Mary Ann Grube; his stepdaughter Kristin Aleckson; his siblings, William, Thomas, Mark and Karen Wetmore; and his brother-in-law Gregory Grube.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Grube; his stepson Brian Aleckson; his brother Robert "Doug" Braden (Charlene); his sister-in-law Laura Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, William, Daniel, Steven, Zoe, Darryl, Christina, Rachel, Jennifer, Adam, Robert and Joe. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home (625 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
