We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022, at the age of 89, Gerald J. Poepping of Burlington, Wisconsin, born in Albany, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Poepping and Olivia Poepping; his son Jeff Poepping; his siblings, Josephine Ruhoff (Edward), Ann Koopmeiners (Norbert), Edna Kremers (Arnie), Hilda Poepping, Norbert Poepping (Helen), Bernard Poepping (Mary Ann) and Raymond Poepping; and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Lorraine Warren, Dorothy Meyers (Bob), Bill Sachse, Bob, Judy Warren, Audrey Warren and Tom Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Hilda Jasperson (Randy), Mary Nolan (Mike), Dennis Poepping (Jean), Teresa Eckhart (Dave) and Patty Sauls (Rich); his close friend Meg Regner; his grandchildren, Dawn Menken (Ryan), Mark Jasperson (Allison), Jason Nolan (Kate), Chris Nolan (Lauren), Travis Nolan (Rosalie), Olivia Floyd (Dusty), Nick Poepping (Sara), Marie Vrchota (Joe), Matt Eckhart (Katie), Shane Sauls (Kerrigan Patterson) and Kasi Rogala (Brody); his great grandchildren, Makenna, Bennett Menken, Peyton Jasperson, Aiden, Easton, Baby Nolan, James, Benjamin Nolan, Owen, Graham Floyd, Maddox Poepping, Carter, Grant Vrchota, Claire and Cami Eckhart; his brothers, Albert Poepping (Karen) and Clarence Poepping (Janie); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Poepping, Bill Warren and Jerry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church or Vince Lombardi Cancer Center.
