He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Meyer and Harriet Meyer; his brother Norman Meyer; and his grandson Brandan Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Meyer (Lee); his children, Daniel Meyer and Cynthia Lust (Mike); and his grandchildren, Seth Meyer (Rachel), Adam Meyer and Gage Baker. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, 11 siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (145 6th St, Waterford, WI 53185). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
