He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Knapp and Katherine R. Knapp (Meis); his brothers, Tom and Roger; and his daughter Rebecca.
He is survived by: his wife Gail F. Knapp (Fish); his children, Renee Liljegren (Daniel), JoEtta Simmerman (Carl) and Edward Knapp (Rachel); his grandchildren, William, Bruce, Erica, Charles, Chad, Bethany, Daniel, Matthew and Carissa; and his siblings, Mary, Linda and John. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
