He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Meister and Ruth Meister (Schmeckle); and his wife Loretta (Aden) of South Dakota. He is survived by: his children, Lynnette Chadwick of New Berlin, WI and Barry Meister of Plover, WI; his grandson Benjamin Chadwick of Milwaukee, WI; and his son-in-law Jeff Jacobson of New Berlin.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services (800 Park Dr, Lake Geneva, WI 53147). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
