He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Krapohl and Murna Krapohl; his siblings, Warren Krapohl and Judith Gibson; and his son Graydon Krapohl.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Averill; his children, Tracy Short (Douglas) of Burlington, Walter P. Krapohl of Rochester, Kaye Krapohl of Traverse City and Kelly Krapohl of Jackson, Michigan; his daughter-in-law Greta Krapohl of Ann Arbor, Michigan; his grandchildren, Lindsay Schroeder (Denny) of Hudson, Ryan Short (Megan) of Mesa, Hayley Warden (Taylor) and Grace Krapohl of Washington, D. C.; and his great grandchildren, James and Tate Schroeder.
