He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rine and Verna Rine (Menting); his brother Duane "Charlie" Rine; and the mother of his children Jerri Lynn Schalinski. He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Raith (Jeff) of Summit Lake and Jennifer Rine-Todd (Stephen) of Iowa; his grandchildren, Warren and Sawyer Raith; and his siblings, Jeanne Cline (Larry) of Wausau, Judy Dziadosz (Dan) of Tomahawk, Kathleen Crouch of Collierville, TN, Karen Heyrman (Russ) of DePere, Nancy Oestreich (Scott) of Wausau, Dale Rine (Pat) of Land and Ronald Rine of Bryant.
